Buying, Selling, or sitting on cash?

Right now, are you buying, selling, or sitting on cash? What metals?

I'm sitting on cash, and contemplating a silver for gold swap...

Sitting unfortunately after the kook run purchase. Have 2 vehicles to throw money at before April - dead jeep and a truck that needs a headgasket.

all of the above. Buy low, sell high. Use available cash wisely.

I would only change that to say, "sell as high as I can." If someone makes a fair offer and I can make a few bucks, it goes bye bye. Ultimately I'd rather have the $ on hand because I still think all PM's will go back down to pre-current run levels, and that's when I'll buy heavy.

I buy when cash is available and I can find something I like at a fair price.

Yep , i turned a few lb's of .999 silver into .9999 gold right before gold rocketed.I didn't get the full benefit of the silver rise but i'd doubled my investment and with gold taking off i couldn't complain. I'll build up silver stockpiles again now and repeat when the time is right. Almost all my expenditure currently is .925 and higher silver at the lowest i can find it. If it's not low enough i'll pass , latterly i got a bag of pre WWl french francs for way under melt.

Always sitting on some cash as a cushion.

Buying some bullion, buying some numismatics; selling some numismatics as well. Not much of a shift in any direction. Fully wedged into pms.

Substantial cash reserve. In 2010 I surpassed my long-term goal for gold while I am adding silver to get to a big round figure. I'm down to less than $5,000 market value in common stock.
  • Currently,no movement/buying selling anything. Started buying gold/silver two years ago when I sold half of my stock portfolio. image

Sold most of my PM's when silver hit low $20's image. Just traded most of my cash for our first house. Will buy more non collectible silver when it returns below $12. image

Reports were in the paper yesterday that silver miners were once again hedging these days in case of a down turn.

If and when silver hits $40.20, I'll be selling some 90%.

Buying silver and gold. Doing what I can to get out of paper, some is hard or impossible to move. Buy dips but they are coming less frequent and not as deep.
