Guy from coin board visiting

I have been posting and collecting on the coin side for a while, but never came to the sports side.

How is the sports card hobby/business? Have cards came back since the fall in the 90's?

I have ton of cards that i have never graded. What type of cards would be worth grading?

What cards would be worth grading is a tough question. There are 1000s of cards worth grading.

    Generally speaking, I'd say
common cards from the 50s in EXMT or better, plus any star cards from that era in any condition
common cards from the 60s in NMMT or better, and star cards NMT or better, and all really high dollar cards (ie Mantles, Reggie Jackson rc, etc) regardless of condition
common cards from the 70s in MT or better, and star cards in NMMT or better
80s don't waste your time unless it's something like an 82 Ripken RC in mint or an 84D Mattingly RC, maybe a Nolan Ryan that could pull a 10

Or of course, anything that is in demand on the registry
