Long-shot Registry idea

Topps baseball, 1952 through, say, 1999:

"One-Year Wonders"

Cards of players who appeared on one, and only one, Topps baseball card

(Could give a nice boost to some pathetic commons we all hold!)

Sadly, though...I'm serious!

I have actually considered doing this very thing with players who appeared as a Detroit Tiger on only one card. I have the spreadsheet started with a list of players who could qualify, but haven't made much progress. One of these days . . . .

Anyway, interesting idea, would be a fun research project for the person who determined the makeup of the set.

Wild guess - I bet that set would be bigger than ANY single-year basic set. It would also be the ultimate proof that TRIAPD - a set full of 1000 commons!!
