What is the longest you waited for a purchase from the B/S/T board? What is reasonable?

I bought/paid for three cards for twenty dollars(not a large sum but I would like the cards for my collection) on January 23 on the B/S/T board. I have asked for two updates and the last response I got was on Febuary 6th "I am not at home right now but will check into it tomorrow and you an update. I am positive they were sent but I will verify that for you."
I am still waiting for tomorrow to get here three days later.
I think 17 days is long enough. What is your opinion?
What is the longest you have waited?
Disclaimer-I am not bashing the seller saying he is a crook. The cards could be lost. However, when they say will get back to you tomorrow they should do that in my opinion.

Not so nice being on the other end of that is it Nathan ol' pal?
As others here can back up. I pay for items I agree to buy. I did not want your lot.
However, I should have gotten back to you sooner. Again, my fault.
Btw pm returned
<< <i>Did you ever commit to buying it in the first place?

I PM'd an offer and he replied to paypal the money to his paypal account. I did that very moment.
Is that what you wanted to know or where you referring to Nam?

Sooner? You never got back to me at all until I emailed you again weeks later.
Not agreeing on a price is one thing as I would never be angry if someone did not like my pricing. Never getting back to someone who took the time to break down 2 big starter lots for you almost card by card is something totally different.
That was my fault.

Too many factors to really express an opinion other then if they said they'd give you an update, then they should give you an update. As to the transit time that depends largely on:
Method of shipment and geography- For example, I ordered something from Steiner and it was shipped UPS on 1/26. It just got delivered to me late yesterday. When you check online tracking, it clearly shows "adverse weather delays" along the way. Several areas of the country are getting absolutely bombarded with inclement weather the last couple weeks. Your package could be tied up somewhere at any number of different sort facilities across the country, or gotten re-routed, or routed incorrectly. USPS occasionally has some interesting routing going on and you always hear of misdeliveries. Registered USPS sometimes takes a month. In some of those scenarios above, 17 days would not be "too long". However, all that being said, 17 days is too long if you've had no communication.

On a BST deal, 10-days is about the max w/o an explanation
from the seller.
Worst case, you don't get the cards and PP will give you a refund.
Patience is usually a good thing.
