Hello all,

Well it's that time again. Spring is on the way, pitchers and catchers are about to arrive in camp and Fantasy baseball on Yahoo! has opened so let's get Year 3 rolling.

The payout will be the same as last year

16 teams @ $25 each is $400. So...

1st = 200, 2nd = 125, 3rd = 50, 4th = 25


The following teams were in last years so if they want in they will have first crack. I know that some people have moved on and others are no longer interested so there will be some new spots up for grabs. Once we are all full, I will set up the league and we will set a live draft date. the $25 entry fee will be due to me before the draft. Please remember only join if you intend to stick it through all season.

    there's no need to post settings until we find out who is coming back for certain, but in basics, it's H2H with 8x8 stat categories and a live draft.

    Not only is this thread getting interest it's gaining some steam. How many spots are available. What is the format - roto, h2h, points? Draft or auction? If it's a draft, how will the order be determinded? Not trying to be anal, but I think others have these questions as well.

    I asked earlier, and the information I was given is that it's H2H, 8x8 categories, and a live draft.

    Thanks Matt for updating the list. Have you considered a deadline for payment? It's not like it's a whole bunch of jack and I good either way, but it's just a thought in case someone decides to bail out.

    Secondly, we should consider adding a PSA graded (baseball of course) card to the prize pool. Something around the $25 range, I've got a few of those laying around that I'd donate. Your thoughts??????

    Hello,

    We do have a deadline for payment and it is before the draft date. Usually around four days before I will start contacting those who have not sent payment giving me enough time to find a replacement if they drop out. As for the card I good idea but in the past I have found that it is very hard to get payment (or cards) sent out after the season. By doing it cash up front I know that the winners will get paid.

    Is the draft date and time now official?

    Just want to make sure I am available for it. I suck at Fantasy baseball so I may have to spend an hour or two before figuring out what the hell I am doing.

    I found out in the middle of the draft that one of the teams (that did not pay) will not be playing.

    The team drafted and I am wondering if anyone would like in? The cost to take over the team is $25 and the team is drafted as below.
