Got a bunch of seated coins for melt today...

No pics, they're all AG or worse, but still thought it was great as I'd never seen any Seated coins for melt before. Had limited cash on me so the B&M dealer allowed me to put a bunch of stuff in the back to buy for melt later... probably another $7 or so face in Seated coinage.

1876 Dime
1883 Dime
1853 Arrows & Rays Quarter
1876 Quarter
1855 Half
1855-O Half
1855-O Half

    Almost, sometimes, eh?
I bought a toned silver Roosevelt a couple of weeks ago. $4 (I like the toning so that is worth it to me) and melt is ~$2 on it alone. I paid 100% premium for this BU toned dime, over melt, but, for $2, I am ok with that.

A lot of coins are selling for close to melt that were older retail prices.

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

When silver is 40X face there will be a lot more interesting things being treated as bullion than just seated slugs. And by that time some buyers will probably prefer a BU Washington quarter to the Fair seated quarter because of the silver demand. There are probably hundreds of thousands of these slugs that have been sitting in dealer's inventories for years just waiting for something like rising silver prices to have made them worth buying in the first place.

It's Arrows & Rays... forgot to mention. Definitely a nice score, but it's probably an FR-02 coin at best.
