Does this sort of ebay bid history seem dodgy, or am i being paranoid?

    Note: this seller is currently running 1000 auctions -- so the bidder is certainly not bidding on everything the seller has for sale.

    ??? the guy bids on stuff, has feedback, i see nothing "dodgy"
    regardless of how many posts I have, I don't consider myself an "expert" at anything
  • Aye , just a bit lol , i had a guy tell me last week he regularly gets his brother to bid up his coins.

    I'd say he's either a very dedicated follower or a shill.......you decide!

    you are paranoid

    it could be shilling
    it could be someone who has purchased many items in the past from this seller and feels comfortable only buying from them on eBay for their needs
    it could be someone who lives close to seller and has personally viewed items bidding on

    it does not even matter if they are shilling if you decide how high you are willing to bid for fair delivered value

    if you think you are getting scrued by seller, then don't bid on their items

    Fair enough.
  • I've seen the same coin sold from a couple of these sellers, They must all be the same "person"
    edited to add; sold within a day of each other
    BST Transactions;
    Seller- thebigeng; morgansforever; bolivarshagnasty
    Buyer-nibanny; derryb; zubie; smittys; konsole; tootawl; socalbigmark; fullcameo; coinkid855
  • Its a shill account, that he probably also uses to buy with. If he is bidding on your stuff its to hide he is also a seller.
