Earl Campbell Auto Ideas?

A good friend of mine won a dinner & tour at the UT football facilities with Earl Campbell next week. He is not a collector and called me to see if I had an item I wanted him to get autographed for me! Quite a generous offer cause he could just get an item signed and sell it on eBay!
So I am looking for ideas on what to get signed? I am considering:
Jersey
Football
Rookie Card
Mini-helmet
Any other ideas that I am missing?

Check out eBay and see if you can find anything unusual. Just did a search on eBay:
A book called THE TYLER ROSE:The Earl Campbell Story also "EARL CAMPBELL ... The Driving Force"
Sports Illustrated or SPORT magazine with Earl on the cover
A program from one of the games he played in
If you are a poker player, this is on eBay: Earl Campbell Poker Chip Card Cover Guard
That's all for now. GOOD LUCK!

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
<< <i>I think the Rookie Card and the Jersey would be two nice pieces.

That is what I am leaning towards. My friend thinks they will allow a big item (jersey/helmet type) and something small like a card. I just put a post on the BST board looking for a low grade or good eye appeal raw rookie. My rookie is an 8.5 and I really don't want to crack it for a signing but I will if need be.
I personally would probably choose a UT jersey (as opposed to an Oilers jersey).

Funny thing is after your first post I did an eBay search and found that book. I just added them to my watch list. I might message the seller to see how quick it can be shipped!
<< <i>Another option would be an 8x10 or larger photo.

Any item would be Longhorns over Oilers. Good thoughts!
<< <i>I would have him sign a sealed McFarlane with a sharpie >>
How does that get done? Would he just sign the wrapper somewhere or is their a special signature spot? This intrigues me as I want something that can be displayed.
It's the original painting used to make the 2009 Upper Deck Football Heros cards. It's 12 x 12 and is reasonably priced at $249.99. Get yourself something unique. The rookie cards, helmets, jerseys, photos, etc. are cool, but they are all over the place, you can always get them.
If you need the link to buy the painting, let me know.

You'd have an awesome, one of a kind piece, of Campbell doing what he did best, plowing over people.

I like that Mike but it has to be UT. I know you are just trying to limit the Longhorn love! Something tells me the Aggie influence in your house is having a subliminal effect!!!

Nah, I only love one Aggie, definitely not them all. I was almost a Longhorn myself. My final 3 were Stanford, Texas, and Notre Dame. Except for the blizzards, I made the right choice for me.

That would be one sweet item.
Hookem, are you POSITIVE that Earl will only sign UT items, and nothing else?

No he will sign anything but I have a Texas Longhorn themed "game room" so I want to use Longhorn image. I wonder if Press Pass overs any of those type items as he has been featured on many Press Pass cards in his UT uniform.
I met Earl at a signing in 1997 and he graciously signed both the Flats I had. They are both items that are special parts of my 1979 Topps football set. I would have a hard time parting with them as they are dated pieces that represent the day I met and shook the hand of the great Earl Campbell who I consider one of the top 10 greatest runners in NFL history and THE #1 Most powerful runner Ive ever seen play.
I also have similar pieces from Johnny Unitas and Gale Sayers
