"Interest rates, the price of money, are the most important market. And, perversely, they’re the market that’s most manipulated by the Fed." - Doug Casey

A very interesting article...Thanks.
interesting, too that his hedge fund is very silver oriented.
What better way to attack an enemy that you can not feasibly conquer militarily than when you see the enemies economy
teetering on the brink of failure, than to gather as much gold and silver as absolutely possible, Opening up and encouraging your
population to purchase gold and silver. Which both of have been real money for thousands of years. Then when you feel comfortable
that you and your population have a good supply of real money. Begin playing games with the fiat based markets and currencies
to the point of total fiat failure.
Sure it will cause some chaos in your own country switching to a gold and silver backed money system.
But you will have the massive amounts of gold and silver stores to make the switch easier.
Which your enemy will not. Catapulting your country and economy to the number one position.
With the ability to dictate monetary policy around the globe.
Quite a Tsunami moving power from West to East
My concerns precisely. In no way can I predict that China will one day bring us to our knees on the global economy scale, although
I feel that our country is pretty self sufficient. However, China already has Brazil in the palm of their hands, and I get the sense
that we may soon (10 years) be the next in line.
Conclusion.....just accumulate as little as you can for as long as you can, and pray for the best.
<< <i>I found a interesting chart in the comments on your link!. Did anyone know they already trade food for gold? In the case of this provided chart they are showing the cost of cattle when paid by gold. Take a look!-chart >>
Wow, I'm selling all my gold and buying cattle! How many will fit in a safe deposit box, and do they tarnish easily?
