Will Pcgs grade...?

Will PCGS grade a common 17880 Maria Theresa Thaler Restrike? I have a special one that I would love to have conserved in a PCGs slab.

    Any Idea what the coin number is or where it can be found?

    PCGS will generally choose the correct coin number for you in the World coin arena.

    However, in your case, I believe this is your coin number;

    600169 (1780)-SF Thaler Restrike
  • Ive always been confused by this coin , i was given one by my brother who worked in the middle east in the 70's and 80's. Apparantly it's what they paid the local labourers with , these silver restrikes.I was told at a coinshop in Edinburgh these are being struck even to this day and he pulled out a basket full priced at melt. How does one know how old any given example is ?

    Mine is probably the most beautifully toned coin I have seen. I might get it trueviewed just to show it off.
  • Thanks for the link Mac , that's interesting.
