Two Future HOFers from Butte Junior College!?

A few of you know may know that Larry Allen went to Butte College (near Chico, Cali - home of Sierra Nevada Brewery) before going to Sonoma State. Also, Aaron Rogers went to Butte before going to Cal. Not bad for a tiny JC in the middle of nowhere!

Ya, you think the 49ers are kicking themselves even more now!? Up until that draft they were debating between Aaron Rogers and Alex Smith. They could have had a "local" kid, played across the bay at Cal, and grew up just a few hours away in Chico. Instead they picked Alex Smith who has been a complete bust.

what would of happen to rodgers if he was on a team with no wrs like he has now such as the jaguars,panthers, chiefs

First, I don't think we can induct Aaron Rodgers into the Hall just yet. He's three seasons into his career, basically. Second, I don't think Alex Smith is that big of a bust. Occasionally, he plays great. But who can prosper in an organization that keeps making coaching and personnel changes at the speed of the 49ers? The same applies to Jason Campbell, who had to deal with Dan Snyder's crap in Washington. I would bet that if you put Alex Smith into the Patriots lineup, he would lead them to 10-12 wins.

Not bad...Larry Allen was one of the BEST o-linemen ever and Rogers looks like he will have a super career!
