  • Certain tickets, not Ticketmaster ones. I have seen Elvis tickets graded by PSA, even for cancelled shows after he had died.

I saw some nice PSA slabbed Beatles tickets at the National.
    Good luck with your tickets.

I've seen lots of ticketmaster stubs in PSA holders...I'd give it a shot. If you don't mind me asking, what concert stub are you looking to get graded? I've been collecting concert stubs for a few years and have a couple hundred, mostly 60's and 70s...my favorite is Hendrix opening for the Monkees in 1967 image

  • The site says they don't grade TicketMaster tickets for sporting events.

I submitted a full, untorn TicketMaster ticket from the Billy Joel concert at Yankee Stadium, and I expect to get graded with a red flip. Worst case scenario, they will authenticate only with no number grade, but I'm fairly certain they'll put it in a red flip. I'll update as soon as it pops.

TicketMaster tickets for sporting events are green flip only, which is nice if you just want something as a souvenir.

Crazymind, I'd like to see a scan of the Billy Joel ticket once you get it back. That is a very cool piece of music and baseball memorabilia.
  • Maybe I'm being a little ambitious, but I plan on scanning every PSA-slabbed item I ever own! So you'll definitely have a chance to see it, hopefully soon. I submitted it at the Westchester County show on January 14, and they promise a 20-day turnaround, so I'm hoping to get those 15 tickets back soon.

The June 23, 1990 ticket is a bit faded, but all the printing can still be read easily. I don't expect it to grade high, but I want it slabbed. It's from a seat on the field in section D. I'm not sure, but I'm guessing this was the section over towards right-center field. What's funny is it's designated at a "floor" seat, not a field level seat. I guess they didn't want people to get confused with the regular field boxes (1-138) in the lower bowl around the infield.

Technically this would be considered a phantom ticket, but since others have mentioned seeing similar concert tickets in PSA slabs, I'd say it's definitely worth a shot.

Worst case scenario, it gets slabbed with a green flip and you can specify 4 lines of custom text (up to 29 total characters per line) to go on the flip. No cert. number, barcode, grade, or authentication... basically nothing except what you tell them to put on it.

Im pretty sure psa will grade just about any ticket. I really like the job they do with slabbing tickets and the info on the flip. Ive sent many different tickets that are pretty much worthless to anyone else but i wanted to get slabbed. Ive sent win tickets from the kt derby and travers stakes that i went to, many different concerts i went to, presidential inagurations, even some random show i went to in HI when i was on my honeymoon. Its worth waiting for a ticket special otherwise it gets a bit pricey. There was just one in jan. Not sure if its cotinued into feb.

  • Just for info I saw a couple of SGC graded tickets on EBAY the other day. They where not any where as nice looking as PSA holders yet it looks like they may try their hand at grading them!
