if its an old poured loaf and they wouldnt sell it cause its rare or would sell for a big premium, why would ya melt it into jewelry?

My WAG is probably about 40 an ounce - you gotta find a buyer though.

Offer him 5 generic one ounce rounds/bars and that would be a fair trade.
