Does curvature on cards affect grading?

I pulled out my boxes of 91 Stadium Club and found a few nice Favres. These all have a slight curvature to them. Will this hurt the grading? I am pretty sure all of my Staiudm Club cards have this curvature to them.

I don't think that will hurt them if it is an even curl. If it is wavy or uneven, then it will.

I swear, I had some early 1980s Kellogg's cards that were this shape ---> C

If the cardboard isn't warped or wrinkled, then it shouldn't affect the grade. I don't grade modern cards but many vintage vending cards had a curl to them and that doesn't affect the grade.

No, generally it does not. Why not put them in a top loader for a few weeks?

That usually takes the bow out for me.

You'll need to go through the formula just to be sure! image

    The answer is 4.

BTW, I enjoy my wife's curvature more.

IMO it does slightly effect the grade. I sent in this card. Under 10x loope I couldn't find anything wrong with the card. If you look at the bottom edge you can see the card still has a slight curvature to it within the slab.

I believe the curvature kept it from being a 10.

To me, the corner touches visible on the reverse would be enough to downgrade from a 10.
