Hi Everyone,
For a number of years I was a "list" (as well as other odds and ends) collector of Joe Montana. I sold some of the high end items but have a number of quality cards/oddballs that remain.
I am selling the entire lot for $300.
Important - - The collection must be picked up in Jersey City (right next to the Holland Tunnel).
This would be the perfect project for anyone looking to make some extra cash through a resale of the items.
Some of the collection includes:
1998 UD Encore Authentics Red (only 16 signed in red... joe's first true short print auto... went for $700 back in the day)
1987 English Ace (full 49ers set...includes Rice... i believe this still books for over $700)
6 sets of Associated Press Slides (full 49ers sets... check columbia city collectibes website for pricing)
1981 MSA Holsum Disc
1983 Tudor Figurine (tough one)
1984 and 1985 49ers Police (full 49er sets)
1985 and 1988 49ers Smokey (full 49er sets)
1992 and 1993 Action packed Mint Parallels
1991 UD Heroes Auto /2500
1994 Pro Line Live Auto /920
1992 Pro Line National Convention
1992 Pro Line Portraits Auto
1993 Pro Line Live Auto
1996 SPX Tribute Auto
1990 and 1991 Knudsen Bookmarks (full 49er sets)
1992 Bryer Bookmarks (full 49er set
There is easily 700 cards/issues including McDonald's, Dairy Pak, Question of Sport, Monty Gum and more. There are a lot of parallels for sets such as Excalibur, Collectors Edge, Stadium Club, Wild Card, etc. Anyone familiar with Joe Montana's Beckett list would appreciate many of the oddballs.
In addition, it comes with:
8 or so Starting Lineups (near mint condition... all in original packages)
8 collectors plates (all mint in original packaging... bradford, hamilton, etc.)
original SF newspapers after each super bowl (in nice condition)
a couple of bobble heads (stored in original packaging)
mini helmet auto'ed by rice/montana (was a gift not sure of coa)
couple of lithographs (came with other collections i purchased... not sure of value but kinda neat)
The profit here can easily exceed $1000 but just needs time/effort.
If interested, please feel to contact me anytime:

why can't you ship?

Hope all is well.
A number of items are oversized... making it a project to pack and ship in a secure manner. In addition, virtually all of the normal (3X5) cards are in single screw down holders. Thus, the cost of shipping would be enormous (due to weight) while removing them from the holders would be too time consuming.
Currently, I am looking to move the collection without a lot of legwork.
If you shoot me an email I can send scans of the top cards.
Doug.
