I see the card on Ebay...and the card in no way seems to match the grade. IN NO WAY
I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.
He has a reserve on that scam card in the compromised holder. Let's hope and pray the reserve isn't met!! I also hope it doesn't affect the sale of my '4'.....

If I were you, I would consider a short, well-crafted sentence in your auction indicating how people can tell an altered slab. Add a small reference to yours being "the only accurately-graded, authentic example" on the Bay.

I wish I could. Mine has bids. Ebay makes it VERY difficult to alter your auction once bids are present.
actually , I don't think the holder is compromised. I think PSA messed it up. The card before it was a psa 3 martians approaching. I bet either the data entry was messed up or the cards were mixed in the sub and then the holder labels were corrected. looks like a quality control issue. I sent the seller an email, I think everyone on the board should do the same , we'll see what he says. he is trying to play dumb(extremely in this case) and profit on a clerical error. he also has the stooges card from the same submission listed.
edited to add: not even sure it is worthy of a 3 either

Perhaps someone nice could submit a question about it to your auction. and you could answer in that way....

You can't edit what's already there but you can add to the description. Just use a really large, bold font.
<< <i>I contacted PSA yesterday. I told them that we have been receiving some questions about the grading of this card. They told me that they stand by their grading and that we should continue to list it as an NM 7. >>
and my response to him which I cc'd psa on as well
<< <i>did you show them a scan, no way they would say that if you did. clearly a clerical error, look at the description of a psa 7 on their website.

PSA,
here is the auction in question.
http://cgi.ebay.com/1962-Mars-Attacks-CHECKLIST-55-PSA-Graded-NM-7_W0QQitemZ140506765618QQcategoryZ156521QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp5197.m7QQ_trkparmsZalgo=LVI&itu=UCI&otn=3&po=LVI&ps=63&clkid=6781579860711408845
this is a very expensive card that is obviously not a 7, it is a 3 at
best. no gray area, a clerical error.
