Want to know why this wren looks pugnacious......?

It's because the little buggers ARE pugnacious. That's the rap on the so called "Happy" rock wrens-the
Brits have known it for a very long time.
We usually have 3 or 4 families of Carolina wrens hatching in the spring and working the bird feeders all year long.
They don't take any guff off birds twice their size and I had to chuckle yesterday when a Brown Thrasher
(think avian piledriver on steroids) was chasing all the other birds off the feeders as they usually do.
He took a bluff run at a wren, the wren headed for him and he flew up into a tree.
Don't mess with 'em
