    I used to do that to some of my Baseball Digests and cards in the mid-70s when I was a kid. Fortunately I didn't foul up the superstar cards though. Aside from fu-manchu's, I also specialized in messing around with the player names by erasing and inking in extra letters.

    Not a bad deal at $0.99. Maybe it was an early Topps variation to develop the 1967 "Who am I" test set.

    The sad thing is that I could picture some scammer on ebay putting that as part of the description, along with a $30 BIN lol.
