My best raw toned GSA's

Here are three of my best toned GSA's. These are very neat coins.

The first is an 1880 rainbow toned over deep proof like surfaces.

The second is a wonderfully toned 1881, 100% with tourquise and reds, amazing

The last is a common date, but not common toning. Very unique and high grade to boot.

Very nice! I would never had guessed that 81-CC was a GSA coin with those colors.

I am not a tone head but I find the 82cc to be a very good looking coin. I suspect you & I would disagree on the % premium it would take to own such a coin so I will just have to enjoy the pictures.

Very nice! I have an 82 that's similar. One of my favorites even though a common date. I've held onto it for 30+ years so far... maybe it's just the little blurb by Nixon on the inside of the box top.
