1956 Proof Lincoln - Struck Through Thread

ModCrewmanModCrewman Posts: 4,028 ✭✭✭✭✭
I picked up a few 1956 proof sets yesterday that had some various cameo's in it (I'll post those in a separate post), and when I got home and was taking a close look at all of the coins I noticed this one that I thought was pretty neat, my first proof error find. The coin itself isn't in great condition, but the strike through was neat.

Would the strike through give it any added value?

Yes that coin has added value with the strike thru and especially because it is on a proof coin.

    Nice Find.

Here is one I found yesterday ......

Yes, it does add some value to error collectors. Probably not to non-error collectors, but there are error collectors out there who will buy that at a premium. Nice find.
