Morgan grading question..

I noticed under the PCGS coin number guide that there are 2 different numbers for PL and just regular Morgans.

My question, If a Morgan is submitted under the regular coin number does PCGS automatically consider PL if the coin really is PL?
Or, do you have to send the coin in under the PL coin number?

thanks.

They should, and almsot always do evaluate the coin for what it is, regardless of what coin number is written on the submission invoice. Once in a great while, a coin comes back with the incorrect coin number, which wasn't caught/changed.

Mark is correct. When submitting MS Morgans, us the four digit # assigned by PCGS. IF the coin is graded DMPL, it should come back in the five digit coin number holder.
