For sale is a LLanddona Hoard Edward I silver penny, S.1397 London mint, comes with YorkCoins' paper insert. Shows the typical beach erosion - sandy dark and crusty surfaces. Lots of character!

But the Early Bird also enjoyed the fast flip that resulted.
I would have liked to see this piece but I'm just as happy to have been the middleman here. It looks to have had a fascinating history. Hey, FB- if the writeup is still on the York Coins site or elsewhere, can you link it up for us? "LLanddona Hoard" sounds vaguely familiar, but I don't remember the story on it. Obviously it was Welsh, with those double Ls and double Ds in the name.
Uh, oh. Looks like he's sold out of them over there, too. Swampboy, you just got this one in time.

Gil, you're lucky I just read that story after agreeing to flip the coin over to you.
Edit to add- I'll just have to dig my own this fall, if the whole "LordM to England" trip thing pans out.
