Size of Collection

I was just wondering rough size estimates of people's collections. I'm new to these boards and just starting my collection. I don't want to start a size vs. quality arguement.

Mine first:

PCGS: 350ish mostly PR69DCAM some 70s nothing too fancy, just completing sets.

NGC: 1

raw: 10ish

It depends on what you collect... that will determine the size of your collection.

Probably not going to get a lot of response, since this is a public forum and most won't want to disclose the size/value of their

Most of the value of my collection is concentrated in one 20 coin box. I also have two partially filled boxes of common silver dollars (one with Morgans and the other a Peace dollar set in progress) and an assortment of type coins in the other. I also have about 11 years worth of modern proofs and a few folders with my childhood penny and nickel sets, still in progress. (One of these days, I'm going to find that 1909s-VDB in pocket change...)

PCGS = 62

NGC = 0

61 are Liberty $2.50's and 1 is a Lincoln cent.

About half the size it was two years ago but still over 600 PCGS coins and way too many rolls and Mint / Proof sets.

Way too many Kennedy halves and way too few 1822 half eagles.

All PCGS except one 1964-D NGC MS65 Prooflike pedigreed to Ken Bressett on the day Kennedy halves debuted.

well, in my two, core sets so far, about 85 coins...

other certified coins of various denominations and dates, can't count them off the top of my head, that's why I keep notes, somewhere...

modern crap, about 24 certified pieces..., not counting silver proof sets, finally got rid of all my mint sets and proof sets, Yaaaaaaaaaaaay!!!

other oddball stuff in 2x2s, about ..., oohhhh about..., sheesh, forget it!

I just sold it all to start fresh, I began to get concerned about quality and realized I had just been hoarding little $30-80 dollar coins, so I sold almost everything and now own two really, really nice coins and I'm going to focus more on quality than quantity from here on out.

My PCGS inventory says 59 coins, but only 25 of them are what I would consider "part of my collection". The rest are modern PR69s and 70s, and a few that I have cracked for Dansco sets, nothing important. Lately, I've been selling anything that I don't consider worthy, and have been focusing on "finest of the type" quality. Tough to find = small collection.
