What do you write on the outside of your mailers for cards?

I know some people have stamps for fragile, do not bend etc.

I personally write "IF YOU bend this a puppy gets shot" on the outside of mine, and no I am not joking!

I've don't think they read it anyway, I've received one that said "Please do not bend" and it was crushed up in my box.

That doesn't make any sense, as you haven't demonstrated causality between the bending and the puppy-shooting. If you said 'If you bend this a puppy will get shot' that would make sense, but this does not.

It doesn't matter because they don't read it and it all gets treated the same way. The USPS doesn't give your package special treatment because you wrote fragile on it. Nevertheless, I get buyers asking me to write fragile or do not bend on their packages all the time.

same thing i write on the inside of the mailer. nothing.

if the card is packaged correctly, no worries.

i've had one damaged cards in 10years. and i've shipped thousands and never wrote anything on a mailers other than addresses.

I write this on any flat item. It makes them hand sorted rather then machine and cost like an extra $.20 on low shipping items, but I do think some carries will take notice. Some won't of course.

I recently received some cards where the seller put a "Not Machinable" stamp on the front. Anyone know if that makes a difference?

Seriously, I never write anything, as a bubble mailer with a properly wrapped card isn't at risk of bending IMO.
