"Numismatic Lust"

Never fall in love with a coin so much that it clouds your judgment. Trust me, you'll see things on there that you want to see that are not there.

I agree. My favorite coins are the ones that I fall in love with again every time I see them.

"Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's coins."

This statement needs to be followed by a big clap of thunder but PCGS doesn't provide sound effects.

When you start talking to a coin and you think that it is talking back to you, it is time to go to CCA (Coin Collectors Anonymous), the spin off help association of AA (Alchoholics Anonymous).image

I really don't see coins that way, no matter how nice they may look or how they may "speak to me."

Anything & everything in my collection can be sold at any time for any reason if necessary.

    I don't lust after them.

    They are just coins.
Always looking for attractive rim toned Morgan and Peace dollars in PCGS or (older) ANA/ANACS holders!

Agree. Lust doesn't apply to inanimate objects.

Worry is the interest you pay on a debt you may not owe.
