Crossed some Capped Bust halves 3 of 8

I thought I would roll the dice, 2 crossed at grade and one down one grade.

I thought I could definately get the Anacs to cross, and the 27/6 is one of my favorite coins. Big win I think.

Overall not bad. Unless you checked do not holder genuine, the 1831 will come back in a genie holder.

    Which others didn't cross?

Nice coins that speak on their own regardless of the plastic.

The 1831 surprised you that is was not graded?

I had it marked to cross at grade, so hopefully it was not taken out of the NGC holder.

The rest were NGC AU58, I think they would go as 55, but I rolled the dice with the freebies.

No, I did not think that the 1831 would have a chance at crossing, That was the only other coin I had to make it 8 and I wanted to use all 8, I thought maybe they would be generous.

You did well. I especially think the 1827/6 is a winner at PCGS 58. I have not managed to ever own the O-101.
I collect Capped Bust series by variety in PCGS AU/MS grades.

Nice! Especially the 13 and 27.

Those small ANACS holders are on the road to extinction though. I found a lot of good coins in them over the years myself

Very nice! The '31 doesn't do much for me but the others are breathtaking.

The 1813 is very nice. I wouldn't mind having the 1826 or the 1827/6 either!!
