My wifes mother was a waitress for over sixty years.
When she passed away we hurriedly packed all her estate
into large plastic storage bins. Our new years resolution
is to unpack all 100+ tubs and reclaim my basement and attic!
We started unpacking today and I pulled $47 in change and six
$1 silver certificates and a two dollar bill out of the first tub!!
All the change is pre 1964 and I had no idea what I might be sitting on. I am juiced man! Here is todays find its not a key or anything like that but it is the oldest UNC coin I found today and it heavily toned.
I hope I am not boring anybody I will edit the post and bump
it if I make any intresting finds as I unpack this will take me months.

The hunt will now make the unpacking manageable.

There are several Standing Liberty Quarters in the pile. It looks like some have no date. Be sure to check for 1916's. Even though the dates are missing there are ways to tell if the coins are 1916 or not. Well worth your time and effort.

I don't think I've ever seen textile tone on a Peace Dollar before.
a lot of bicentennial coins. Long weekend went thru about 10 containers.
