I held the top spot among the Everyman gold $3 collection for about two or three days before someone posted a collection with two coins. It was fun being for a brief moment in such a screwy name for a collection--just your average Joe's run-of-the-mill three dollar gold, nothing fancy. Fifty fours, seventy eights, the stuff that exists by the hundreds and costs less than a car.

Proof Trade dollars... I suspect you're going to get to keep your top spot for awhile!

I owned the top spot in the 1909 proof set, no gold for a while just by virtue of owning the VDB proof. I thought about locking it up by purchasing the other coins required, but I just couldn't get past spending good money on nickels and dimes. image
