Interesting Antique store find. Pop out IHC!

AnkurJAnkurJ Posts: 11,366 ✭✭✭✭
But with Teddy Roosevelt! The details are pretty good too, and it looks like it was gold plated. There is a patent date on the reverse which I havent seen on these pop outs. Has anyone seen one like this?

It was $5...I couldnt resist!

Ankur, that thing is crazy. I think I would have walked away with it for $5 as well.

Teddy R. is definitely one of the rarer pop-outs.

There are several political pop-outs. I've also seen Garfield and McKinley and King Edward VII. I don't have a full list.

Very nice! I have a German silver coin with a popout portrait of Kaiser Wilhelm II in his imperial lifeguards helmet --- impressive.

I have never seen a pop-out that clean, usually they are more jagged and beat up. -----------BigE
