Not AS bad as the Pats, at least we scored a few TD's and kept the game within reach...

Either way the Super Bowl pipe dream in NY is over.

Funny the Roman numeral guy was nowhere to be found last week after we lit up his Pats...guess he just crawled out from under the bed...image

Now that is the Sanchez we all know! How many picks will he throw in the second half?

    I say at least two.

As if on cue, here come all the Pat fans out from under the bed, LMAO...

Sanchez hasn't thrown a pick, and he's certainly not the reason the Jets are struggling...

And Jets are still better than the Pats..

No, the Jets were not, and are not better than the Pats. They were better on one given Sunday, but the Pats were 14-2 and the #1 seed in the AFC - the Jets stumbled in as the last seed.

Next thing you know, I'm going to hear how Sanchez is better than Brady.

Being a Browns fan makes this hard to say: The Steelers looked tremendous the first half....they really are beating up on the jets.

No one cares what you do in the regular season...Pats lost to the Jets at home and were bounced for the second straight season at home after one game while Jets advanced to the conference championship both times...but we'll give you that #1 seed award trophy if you want it, LMAO..

    Bomb for the TD!

Keep talking nonsense, please! I'm serious, everything you state is dead wrong and we need a little help coming back in this game!

HUGE credit to the Jets for the comeback...they're still gonna lose.
  • grote15grote15 Posts: 29,695 ✭✭✭✭✭
Gutsy performance, and though it's still a loss in the end, they made me proud with a great effort to come almost all the way back. Sanchez played a heckuva game after taking some big shots.

Tough to win three games in a row in the playoffs.

Very true...or in NE's case the last couple of years, one in a row in the playoffs..image

That was a nice comeback, I give Sanchez a lot of credit for hanging in there.

Thanks, Jerry...I know kind words about the Jets from a Pats fan are few and far between, so I appreciate that.. image

The Jets played a great second half, but were doomed by the 1st half. They made some great halftime adjustments and their defense stepped it up.

I attribute the Jets play in the first half against the Steelers to Rex Ryan calling the New England game "the second biggest game in Jets history". OF COURSE there was going to be a letdown against the Steelers, and there clearly was. Missed tackles on defense, no run game on offense - those things are motivation driven more than anything, and it was obvious the Jets didn't bring the same intensity to the first half like they did in the Pats game.

The Jets have a bright future. Too bad they started so slowly yesterday, but PIT had a bit to do with that.

    What a nice young team.

The Jets had a good run this season and their fans should be proud of their team.

Don't worry too much about the Roman numeral guy who is so old he probably had his schooling around the time when Roman numerals were invented and doesn't yet understand Arabic numerals...and who still hasn't learned even in his advanced old age, that it is classless to pile on against an underdog team that hasn't won a championship in many decades and just fought hard and lost.

So true - Pats fans were nowhere to be seen last week other than at the travel agency, canceling their elitist expensive vacation plans to attend the Super Bowl. Ha! Ha!

Paul - I still have hope that the Eagles will one day win a Super Bowl...I'm thinking it will definitely, no doubt, be next season. image
