I found the older thread about the fake 1858 gold $1 an interesting read, but I think this is the real deal. Seems to be a date you don't see that often either.

    That's why I usually try to keep at least one or two inexpensive collections goin'- I doubt I could maintain interest if I collected something expensive enough that I could only add a coin every month or two.
