I am pulling mine out of the Dansco to send it right now, you had better sell this before it becomes another high pop ho hum coin.

Thanks to that "nasty" image PM I just received from Spooly, I wanted to add a thought. I was just looking through the printed March 2002 Pop report today, and I have a coin listed as Pop 0. Does this make it more valuable? It was graded in early February so it isn't like a brand new grading.

Just watch. I'm sure there are bags and bags of those waiting to be gone through and located. Pop 1 today, sure. Pop 10,000++ in a year or so.

      8. I just got a Morgan MS 70 1881s. According to pop reports, that has a population of -1 !!!!!! I guess that means NO ONE owns it, not even Mike Casper.image

GoldenState, Are you sure the date isn't '2001' and your "Morgan" doesn't have 'one ounce' on the reverse? image

I was checking out somebody's Registry Set.. can't remember who's.. but this person had one coin that was listed with a population of 0 with ## higher. I thought that was rather funny!

        Spooly,

Instead of actually selling a rare piece like this, why don't you consider leasing the cert#, cracking out the coin and submitting to NGC make it a pop 1 there also. I'll take 10% for the brainpower.image

I'm ahead of Askari on this one. I have a Meiji 8 Japanese 10 sen coin in PCGS MS-65 that is probably a pop1 coin (is there a pop report for Japanese coins?). As soon as the Japanese Set Registry fires up my coin's going to be worth a mint!

I'm going to drag my mint sealed bags of large cents tonight to cherrypick the best ones.
