Tom, I tend to agree with you. On the posted commem the obverse satisfied that sentiment imo. The reverse on the other hand signified the colors of the battle fought over that bridge. That's what I told myself at least to justify the purchase

Here is a clad quarter that is quite definitely loud and obnoxious.
A dime that is diseased, yet strangely compelling.
And finally a gold coin that has teh colors goin' on.
The first two are a result of boredom in a cabin on a winter night and a kerosene heater.
The gold one...it was like that when I purchased it.
