'72 - '73 Football lot "Gamble" received, SCAN Heavy

Started a thread several days ago about two lots from a consignment seller that apparently didn't know anything about cards or what was in the two lots listed. The baseball lot went for over $1200 and was probably too high, but if it's anything like the football lot then I would have loved to have it. The football lot turned out really good for the money with all of the cards in NM-NM/MT condition and several higher grade cards that will be sent for grading. The stars and rookies for the most part were in great condition and most will be sent for grading. There were 20 or so commons that have shots at 10's. There were even a few NM - NM/MT '72 and '73 baseball including a nice '73 Kaline. Here are some pics and scans. Most of the cards I scanned will be sent off for grading.

If I recall it was like $275. That is a very nice steak dinner and instead if you spend a few hundred more on grading you might tripple your money or more.
Good luck!

save the grading fee on the perfectly centered 72 commons that will pull an 8. I'll take all of them.
They only go for 5-8 on ebay, I'll give you 2 a piece. I'm putting another set of these together and need the commons.

Bob, I let you know what I have. I'm only subbing the ones that have shots at 10.

My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)
