How does this '52 Topps Wight get a Gray label?

Just curious about the "Gray Back" label this card has. I thought PSA only gave out the "Black Back" variation on the flips. The Wight card I own is a "White Back", will they give that a special label if I send it in? BTW, didn't realize this card was so rare. Thanks. Doug

I also noticed looking at the auction with all it's bold letters and story about how rare it is, there's one thing missing. No picture of the back.image

That's what I want to see too! I have never seen one. I would like to see what this rare back looks like!

I thought the Gray backs were the Topps Canadian issue from 1952. BMW Sports knows more about this than I.
I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.

Cards from 131 to 190 are most often found printed on white card stock. They're also found printed on a gray paper stock and are very rare. When scanned the gray back cards will look pretty close to what scans of the backs of cards 81-130 and 191-407 look like.

For cards 131-190, the card stock is noticeably whiter--a more cream color compared to the gray featured on this card.
