Question on PSA half grades

At some point PSA started giving out half grades. How can I tell if a PSA graded card was graded before the half grades grading began;

    I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure the difference is that flips from before the .5 grading have all the grade info on one line (i.e. NM-MT 8) while the new ones have the number on the line below the grade description, like:

    NM-MT
    8


    You can see it clearly in the bottom two cards of this scan:

    The real answer is this....you only know based on the serial #. Someone who reholders a card would have a new label and does not mean it went in for review.

    Good exception. I stand corrected on my answer. That's one thing I wish Cert Verification would tell you - when it was holdered.

    I wish we knew the dating also. Not to make this into a crazy thread but......PSA from this minute forward needs to never...never....never....never...change the font on the label again. They have changed the font like 10 times in 15 years and the scammers are happy as hell. There are so many cards on Ebay that you have to take a second and third look at the label to make sure it's legit. I don't understand why PSA changed the style of numbering and lettering so many times. They had to know that this would eventually become a problem. Afterall....it's just a card between 2 pieces of plastic with a bar code. Very simple; but has never been consistant because of all the different styling. Just my slight rant for the day.
