Turned my bank and mint rolls into gold and silver

Went to my local B&M and decided to get rid of all my rolls of state quarters, sacs and mint rolls of kennedys.

    Good move Herb! I did the same 2 years ago...figured all my mint Kennedy, State Quarter and Sac rolls were not going to appreciate much more and rolled them into silver.
    So glad I did, I'm over 1700 ozs of silver now and going for an even 2000 now.

    I just mentioned this in another post, but be sure to tally up your original costs for the stuff you just sold. Then use it as a tax loss to offset any gains you might have during the same year that you sold the rolls.

    The money saved in taxes is just as good as the money you make from a gain on a great trade.

    thank you sir for that bit of advice, I will certainly look into that, though I'm not sure what schedules or forms that will fall under.

    If these are for stacking why would you need to do any tax forms? I wouldn't, cash purchase right.
