i'll send you a coupon to denny's if you read the top post here and follow it
  • I will certainly take you up on that so I can get a bacon egg 'n cheese sandwich and a vanilla milkshake immediately - thank you!

Yeah, I noticed that now - this is my first time selling on BST, I appreciate your heads up.

It is only a 1 day "auction" (really 12 hours), i thought this was the way to sell different items here.

But as my lacrosse coach used to scream, "Mugsy, don't think!"

Sorry about this, it won't happen again after today.

I hope I don't go POOF because then I am in trouble making good on sets ending tonight.

I think I will be going the ebay route next time, I have not stopped responding to PM's since 8am...

the auctions are cool and you have some nice looking product, I think it's a good way to help fellow collectors while not having to pay the ebay fees. Consolidating in one thread next go round if this group is successful would be the way to go. I hope it works out for you, and if your in SoCal and want to buy some football from me, lunch is on me.

By creating all these 'auctions' you dropped other people off the front page.

    Good for you.

    Hey WinPitcher,

    Yikes, what did I do?

I won't be listing things this way again, I'm gonna go the ebay route next time.

Thanks everyone for your PM's and messages, 'sorry if I am going about this the wrong way....

lol I wouldn't sweat it. I just was giving you the main reason why they frown on it.

And like I mentioned in PM doig one of these at a time might have been better.

That way you would not be getting 1000 PM's from all these bottom feeders.

    J/K guys.

    Good for you.
  • More like, I should have just listed everything on ebay!

you definitely should have listed on ebay if after being notified multiple times continue to bump your multiple threads after the fact. Very classy
  • You're right, I should have listed it on ebay.

I apologize if bumped you to page 2, I gave it one final push - that's all!

EDIT: And, thanks for the bump, drewsef!

  • Personally, I like this approach just fine. I forget sometimes if I have viewed a post, and when it keeps getting bumped I keep looking at it. But, when it is something I have no use for, it starts to annoy me. At least with this, I know that whatever you are auctioning off will be sold TONIGHT. So you will find a buyer, do your business, and the post will fade away. That's perfect in my book. And if I find something that I want to bid on, I'll play.

Good luck to those who are actually bidding.

You get what you pay for, despite not knowing what others are bidding.
