I need help with some foriegn coins

While visiting my parents a few weeks ago, my mother handed me a small box containing a collection of foreign coins that a friend gave her 30+ years ago. The coins were meant to be given to me, but she somehow forgot to do so and rediscovered them while cleaning out a spare bedroom. Since my expertise is US coinage, I need some help determining if any of these pieces are valuable (I suspect not). Most appear to be VF-AU with a few that predate WW1. Any help would be appreciated.

The best reference book for looking up world coin values would be the
Standard Catalog of World Coins 1901-2000 published by
    Krause Publications every year.

Some libraries have old copies in their reference sections.

I'm aware of Krause Publications. Unfortunately, the nearest book store that has this title is nearly an hour from my house. And the three local libraries do not have books on world coins. Thus my question for the forum.

I think these are low value coins for the most part and most not wanting to look them up.

If you can't get the book locally you can always use inter-library loan. You can get just about anything that way.

The key here is that the coins must be in MINT condition, otherwise, there is virtually no value.
