Whats going on with people and ebay

I never had this happen to my but I sold a few thing on ebay and now it seems like no one paying for them I had to open 14 case on the people. This is crazy.

how long did you wait before opening NPB claims?
did you manually send an invoice or did you allow ebay to do it for you?
what are the values on these 14 items? 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200 or more?
I have noticed a rise in NPB since Dec 1, Have 4 NPB ers right now that are riding on day 7 to day 11. I haven't opened up a case on any of the 4 NPB ers yet, as I sent reminders to all 4 on friday morning and will give them till monday night before opening NPB claims.
the average price of each item of the 4 NPB ers is 85 to 90 dollars, the cheapest item 40 the most expensive one 150.
I think a lot of people are getting their xmas credit card bills, about now and with the economy cash is short for quite a few.
I agree with you it is crazy to have to open up 14 NPB ers at one time. I know it is hurting me right now because, I was counting on some of this money to help me with my property taxes which are due in Feb/Mar.

Yep. I had a bunch of leftover postage from Christmas so on items that were under $20 I just shipped & took my chances. I did not bother going to post office for manual DC labels. In the end I am going to refund about $20 total of $340 in sales for lost mail. My next batch of cards ending in the next 3 days will all have DC.

They give you a best offer beat you down on price and then when you agree they don't have the cash anyway.
Makes me want to send them a virus so their computer explodes.

1 more, they wait 7 days pay by e-check and then 2 days later ask where is my item? doh your lousy echeck takes 5 to 7 days to clear before I am allowed to ship to you.

No, it's a 100% scam to claim something happened that didn't happen. A lot of theives try to justify their actions. This one says it's pretty much ok to go after companies if you don't target individuals.
for those who don't click it, it says buy something like an LCD tv, and when it comes, photoshop some pics and claim it as damaged.
Sad.

I love it when someone offers you a lower price (which you agree to) for an auction that is only a BiN, so you revise to add a BO which they use--to send a lower offer than what you agreed to . . .
