Ever get such new looking 1920-1940 cards that you think Fake!!!

Evening,,

I just bought two sets of 1935 Exhibit Supply cards:

E-Bay auctions:

110630606334

310284316108

So anyway, I have bought, sold, had numerous sets of these over the years, I have a new quandry, recieved these two sets and I am going to tell you these are the newest cards I have ever seen! I mean we are talking Crisp, Brand New, White Paper, Cardboard, Cards that look like they were made yesterday! They even sound like a brand new deck of just opened Vegas cards when you pat them on a table!!!!

Can anybody suppose a reason why, or how somebody would start to reproduce such a low dollar item???

Thanks

Neil

Obvious the seller has a time machine and went back in time to grab these. Now the seller isn't the brightest and instead of grabbing say unopened 1952 topps packs he brought these back instead. image

Really though it is tough to say, maybe some sort of recent giveaway or promo? If they are high quality the time and effort to counterfeit these doesn't make a lot of sense unless someone is working their way up to bigger counterfeits.

EDIT*** To add I see in some of his other auctions he refers to them as New Old Stock or NOS. Is that some sort of code for reprints?
