Scans from a small lot I just bought

It was a binder with the scanned pages plus about ten more that were 50s-60s Pirates and '51 Bowman commons.

Old school collection, in many ways.

I got these from a friend who collects cards, coins & guns. He picked up this lot from an old collector, cherry picked it and sold me the rest. It is pretty cool. I was able to upgrade a few cards from my personal sets. I will be able to recoup my cost with those and some graded cards I can now jettison. This lot also has a few cool collector grade stars. When you first look at them , you think it is a great card. When you take a closer look, you see it would grade 4-6. I have a bunch of those in my personal sets. They are all in binders so I can look through them easily. My wife can sell them cheap when I'm dead.

I've gotten a few deals from this guy. He is always telling me about leads on runs of sets from '52-'68, then he shows up and finds boxes of '86 Topps that smell like cat pee. He gets into all sorts of goodies. For example, this lot also included an '82 Topps Traded set, a milk jug and an Atari 2600 with the original box.
