It means if you owned 10 oz of gold you are worth $94 less right now then last night.
Not much else most likely. Metals don't move in lockstep, especially platinum and gold. Platinum to still WAY off of its AT high
Two hours of trading doesn't make a trend.

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
It's been more than two hours, gold has been sputtering for weeks now and platinum has been quietly rising for days.

I guess it all depends on time frames. Gold is what 5% or so off from it's all time high and platinum is off 20%. Perhaps some see more value in platinum today.
From a trader's perspective foe sure platinum has more momentum then gold recently on the long side. A general raising stock market lift's platinum more then gold. Could always be mining issues as well. A healthier car market helps white metals. Could be any or all or smoething I'm missing..................Usually it's just more buyers then sellers and vice a versa.....................I like platinum and gold. MJ
