A set of these sent Express Mail insured for 5000.00 gets stolen, are they covered ?

Remember, Express Mail insurance does not cover bullion.

I guess they would be coins then. 25 cent coins.

As soon as I see or hear of one circulating as legal tender, I will call them coins.
Until then they're just big 'ol dumb chunks of insanely overpriced bullion.
    When in doubt, don't.

Wouldn't the issue be whether they ARE legal tender, and not whether they circulate as such?
  • You'd probably be OK because you can make the case that they are not simple bullion....but I'm not sure.

    I'd send it registered mail.

    good question

$1 ASE bullion is NCLT. They are still bullion.

I'd say since these were minted as bullion, they are bullion despite the ape^%#@ way they are selling.
