why GAI ???

does anyone know why they left psa to start yet another grading company. i searched ebay and can't believe how ugly those gai holders are.i would have thought that they ,with all those years in the business would know what works and doesn't.i swear they have been working for csa , ksa or even pro(with all those made up grades). do you think i can be there when marshall cracks out his 52 mantle and puts it in a gai holder?maybe they can grade it a 12.5 to protect his investment. i know its a free country, but another grading company? my opinion, they should make a holder about 1.5 inches wider, stay with me on this,so that the horizontal cards (i.e teams,ll, in actions) can be displayed without having to turn them sideways to see the card. yeah they are a little bigger but not much and then they would have something nobody else has. i know free country. i do give them credit for having the guts to do it.

    Fabulous idea! re: the holders.

As to why they left, there is great conjecture. Suffice it to say, in my humble opinion, PSA is more competitive price-wise, more customer oriented, more friendly, and better organized since their departure.

just think for a minute, and i have thought about it alot.first complete sets in horizontal form.55,56,60 baseball,63,66,68 hockey,57,65?,85 football,80 basketball and i forgot 55 bowman baseball. now the sets with probably 10-15 percent horz.( i am guessing have not really done the research) but i bet 74,75,78->85 baseball are at min. 10 percent horz.think team,as,ll,ws,cards in 74,think ll,mvp's,team in 75, then from 78 on you have teams,ll,manager and then 79 ->85 you have a ton on cards from tl,ll,prospect and so on.if i had the money i would do it and in my op. you would have people talking and probably using your service.it would be pricey because you would have to have two molds for each size, but i think it would pay-off in less than 2 years. oh yeah i forgot about the 2 million new cards that are horz.format.
if anybody who has about 250,000 to invest i think we can make it work.i bet marc would love to see all his schmidt rookies in that type of holder. carkim how about your 74 set would look real nice in that style holder.so right off the bat we have about 2000 schmidt rookies and at least 700+ cards to crack out and put in my new holder(just kidding don't send them yet)unless you want to.i also forgot about all them 72 sets out there, send them also.i will call my new company ps-eh, and my spokesman are the mckenzie brothers eh.
