Paypal question for the board.

If your paypal account is neither linked to a bank account or for some reason your bank account won't accept paypal transfers, what are your options to receive the funds if you don't want to leave it in paypal?

I know they will send you a check. There might be a small fee...

  • 1.50 for a check to be mailed to you, they also have a debit card option with a couple perks if you do actually use it.
  • Spend it! image

Or send it to me via PP-Gift. image

I have a PayPal Visa Debit card which allows you spend the money right away. I think I just had to add another card that is linked to my paypal account so I could use the visa, but my paypal is still linked to a bank account I closed a few years ago.

I'm not sure if the OP resolved his issue, but I wanted to add one more thing.

My PayPal Debit card which is linked to my paypal account is issued by JP Morgan Chase Bank. I was able to go to a Chase Bank using my PayPal Debit card this weekend and withdraw my funds. BTW, I'm not a Chase Banking Customer.

  • if you have a paypal debit card, you can go to any ATM and withdraw cash for a fee , up to 400.00 a day is the limit I think.
