I feel it has a strong chance to cross to a PSA 1.5 or 2, if the right grader gets a hold of it.
From what I can tell, 707 is the DOLLAR STORE compared to deans_cards. For what that guy charges, if I ever bought anything from him I would expect it to be delivered to me in a frickin' limo. ~WalterSobchak
Reminds me of some dealer back in the 70's at the St. Louis card show. He showed me a 55 Topps Hanks Aaron. He described it as having rounded edges with a crease, otherwise it is gem mint. This guy could be a relative.

Same thing happened to me years ago when I was purchasing a 61 Topps Mantle ALL Star without really taking a close look at it the Dealer told me it was gem mint.Since I dealt with this dealer at his store in the Metro Detroit Area probably the largest in the State many times I did not think he would pull a fast one on me.All I will say is that the dealer is no longer in buisness.Rumor has it he was a bit underhanded.
<< <i>Why would anybody grade or for that matter buy a card using those types of grading services? >>
The person that graded it was likely the owner with his own grading "company" in his basement. It's still a card that is worth something. Wouldn't a lot of people buy it, if the price was right?

"This card was given a Gem Mint 10 but it has numerous flaws and is overgraded in my opinion."
This has got to be the understatement of the year.

<< <i>Maybe their grading scale is 1-100. >>
That would be interesting. So since their 10 is noted as 'Gem Mint', then a 100 must be a 'Gem Gem Gem Gem Gem Gem Gem Gem Gem Gem Mint'.

I just don't get it. Maybe what George Carlin said was true "take a look at the average American and remember that half are dumber than that".
