    Depending on how much is used in the glass, a soaring palladium prices may make it uneconomic.

    Anyone aware of what the practical applications would be. I can see where the research geeks would love it, but where is the demand for such a product?

    Corning has a product called "gorilla" glass which has similar properties, it's been around for decades, and there hasn't been much demand for it. So I doubt this will affect the price of palladium, which has already soared.

    There are always articles about the "next big thing" for palladium and other metals which will, supposedly, cause prices to soar. I'll believe it when I see it. image
