Home Buy, Sell, & Trade - U.S. Coins

SOLD

I have the following available for immediate purchase:

(1) One roll of 40 Washington silver quarters, most grade VF to AU, no culls, all common dates;

(2) Twenty one Morgan and Peace Dollars (common dates) mostly AU, some whizzed (mainly looking for melt). There is one cull that is otherwise a lovely BU example except for a significant scrape (apparently from a knife blade?) on the eagle's breast feathers on the reverse. Although I'm only looking for melt value, I disclose this in the interest of fairness. The scrape is significant enough to render it a problem coin without effecting silver content (i.e. all metal is still attached).

I will consider all reasonable offers. Payment will be accepted by Paypal gift or normal Paypal (add 3%). The shipping rate will be exactly what USPS charges me. The roll of Washington Quarters will be shipped in a bubble mailer in a round tube, and the silver dollars will mostly appear in hard plastic 2x2s although some will be shipped in mylar flips. Barring any severe weather, all items will ship the next business day after payment is received.

All offers will be considered.

I appreciate your help, but I'm still unsure as to how this violates the rules. I would much appreciate clarification so that I can refrain from doing so in the future. This is the first and only time that this was posted, and I only gave it one bump per day.

The rules enumerated by sportsmoderator1 say that you get to place your thread to the top just once per day. So your first post, in which you listed items for sale, comprised your first bump. Just two hours later, you posted to the thread again, making it a second bump for the day. PM sent.
  • i would not think that a first post is a bump
i would think thay mean you get the first post and one bump that day.
to bump something, it has to be there to bump it.

    INDIANJOE,
I think this is one of those "Letter "of the law (rule) vs. "Intent" of the rule.

The intent is to not have a thread constantly at the top, or near the top of page 1.
And once bumped the thread goes to the top of page 1.
This is essentially what happens when a thread is created, it is at the top of page 1.
And if bumped the day it is created the thread would be at the top twice in one day courtesy of the OP.
That, to me, goes against the intent.

I suppose that a new thread can be bumped once that day per the 'Letter' of the rules, I just think that you would be doing yourself a disservice getting the members hear who go by the 'Intent' of the rules upset.

The only time this seems to be tolerated is if someone has an auction going, bumps it at the beginning of the last day....then panics as there are minutes left & is getting hammered by the current high bid. Frowned upon, but we all understand that nobody wants to get ripped.
