Tim Lincecum mystery signature...

I have a ball that was signed by Tim Lincecum back in 2007 during Spring Training. He inscribed his number 57. We all know he now wears 55. I did so much research trying to find out when he wore this number, or if he ever did. I checked high school, college, the Giants affiliates, etc, etc. My only conclusion is that he was issued that number as a Spring training invitee that year. Most of you might be saying what about Jonathen Sanchez? He didnt start wearing 57 until the 2007 season started, before that he wore a different number. Nate Schierholtz also wore 57 around this time, and is now number 12. Velez also wore 57 around the same time period but is now 8. It's all kind of strange. I'm hoping one of you die hard Giants fans can help me out. Let me know if you want me to attach a picture of the ball.....
